Singles World Championship (Tylor Spees)
Tylor won 2018 with a “Whales” build that also included Mini-Shredder. A build that people called fringe, even as he practiced, perfected, and won with it. I like to bring this up because some times people lose sight of just what can be done if one is willing to build outside the box. And as a result, he got to help design House of X #061 Juggernaut.

Team World Championship (Two Kings Shellraisers: Devin Owens, Richard Leo, Joe Pangrazio)
Devin didn’t meet the rest of us until the morning of the tournament. Richard was still hung over from the night before and has no memory of the first three rounds of swiss. Joe thought that they had just wasted an entry fee and had a middling performance in swiss (the highlight of which was beating a Regent team). And somehow, they made top cut and all went undefeated until the final round. Luckily, Devin and Leo pulled it out and because of them, we have for the first and only time, House of X #051 Maggott. The first championship figure since Bencrawler to be meta defining.
US Nationals Single Championship (Isaac Arnold-Berkovits)
Isaac won US Nationals at 13 years of age. Nuff said.
- Canadian Nationals Single Championship: PJ Bolin
- Italian Nationals Single Championship: Marco Sandrone
- Mexico Nationals Single Championship: Benjamín J. Mata Olguín
