Heroclix For Huntington’s

Please also consider supporting Heroclix for Huntington’s. The Heroclix community has a proud tradition of supporting charities and Heroclix for Huntington’s is just the latest. Here’s a little excerpt about it from Mr. Scott Porter:
“Now, what is Huntington’s Disease and why is it worth battling for a cure? HD is a genetic neurodegenerative disease often referred to as having ALS, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s all rolled into one. It is called the “quintessential family disease” as every child of an HD positive parent has a 50/50 shot of inheriting this destructive disease. There are approximately 41,000 symptomatic Americans battling HD (including my own mother-in-law), and over 200,000 Americans who are gene-positive (like my own wife) or at-risk of being HD positive.”
