Joshua Waldemeyer is a simple man working on a construction site until tragedy strikes. An explosion sends a wall of bricks tumbling down onto Josh. Instead of killing him, however, the strange energy bonds him with the bricks and transforms him into a living wall.
Confused, Josh goes on a rampage that leads him to a Mets baseball game. He stumbles onto the field and interferes with the players and umpires. He ultimately injures an umpire that looks suspiciously like a young Morgan Freeman.
Spider-Man, attending the game in full costume, becomes aware of the commotion and does his best to battle the Wall. The umpire then wakes up and angrily shouts at both Spider-Man and the Wall, kicking them off the field.
Spider-Man and the Wall then go to a nearby park and talk things out.
