Today we look at that vaguely bee themed villain group: H.I.V.E.

HIVE began as so many super villain groups do: criminal scientists uniting to try and take over the world. They viewed the chief hurdles to this cause as Superman and the Teen Titans and, to this end, endeavored to eliminate them. This led to several failed plans, such as the kidnapping and memory wiping of Lois Lane, the hiring of Deathstroke and the procedure that turned Grant Wilson, the son of Deathstroke, into Ravager.

HIVE’s first leader, the HIVE Master is eventually killed and replaced by the HIVE Mistress, who continues to pursue similar goals. HIVE is later taken over by Queen Bee and participates as part of Alexander Luthor, Jr’s. Secret Society of Super Villains.
