Today we look at the most well known character to appear in one issue: Obnoxio the Clown

Obnoxio is a hard living clown with a constant stoagie in his mouth to match the constant chip on his shoulder. He often finds himself in wacky and weird situations involving the world’s most famous people and characters. But none more strange than the time Professor X hired him to be the clown at Kitty Pryde’s birthday party.

Just as Obnoxio arrives, a villain also attacks the Xavier Institute. Professor X is knocked unconcious and so Cyclops presumes that Obnoxio is the offender. While the real intruder, Eye Scream, skulks through the Mansion; Obnoxio bests the X-Men before becoming trapped in the Danger Room. Obnoxio narrowly escapes the advanced training facility, no thanks to Eye Scream.

Professor Xavier recovers and manages to capture Eye Scream in time for the X-Men to arrive with a grumpy Obnoxio in tow. Xavier reveals the mistakes of the day and Obnoxio insults the X-Men before storming off to parts unknown.
