Pogg Ur-Pogg is a native beast of Amenth. Before the great tournament, War and Pestilence reruit him as a Swordbearer of Arakko. They promise him gemstones and an entire new planet to plunder.
Pogg is paired with Magik. They engage in an “arm brawl” which he wins, earning a point for Arakko. The two fight again, without using their swords and Pogg swiftly swallows Magik. Unfortunately for him, Magik had realized the truth about him.
Once inside, she rips her way to the real Pogg and drags him out of the battle armor. She knocks him out with a single punch and earns a point for Krakoa. After the tournament, Pogg is presumed to have returned to Amenth.
