So, let me lay my biases out on the table. I love alternate realities. I love the Rocketeer (and so love that kind of neo-pulp feel). And I love Morrison/Sprouse. So, this was the comic for me. Characters that don’t always get the spotlight doing something a little different and with different motivations. Heroes that are heroes because it’s the right thing to do. Battling against the hopelessness of it all. Thing of beauty, it is. Thing of beauty.
