The Tony Stark of Earth-42777 isn’t so different from that of Earth 616 to begin with. However, this Stark remains ruthless in his business and is able to control the world economies. Seeing the rise of super humans as a threat to his power, he ignites a war between humans and mutants which results in many of the heroes being killed, with Tony killing Magneto. Doom sees Stark for what he truly is and attempts to provide a rebellion only to also be killed by Stark.

The only community on the planet that escapes his control are the Inhumans on their secret city of Attilan. Black Bolt and his queen Sue Storm continue to evade Stark until the Weapon X team arrives to help him. Stark doesn’t believe the story of reality hopping and Timebreakers until the Weapon X team reveal that Tony killed his father when he was 14 years old; something know one else on Earth could possibly know.

Stark reveals that the key to breaking through the Inhumans’ G-Barrier is with a gamma powered Wonder Man. The Tallus reveals Simon’s location to Weapon X and they’re off to retrieve it. They succeed at the cost of team member Jen Walters, who is instantly replaced by Colossus. Black Bolt learns that Stark is coming with the key to the G-Barrier and enacts a desperate plan.

The final stand between Stark’s forces, led by Weapon X and the Inhumans happens far out at sea. Karnak is lost in the first waves of the battle as the barrier falls. Black Bolt takes his place at the top of the city as Weapon X finds a city full of dead Inumans. They killed themselves rather than be used for Stark’s conquest. Gambit realizes it’s a trap just as the Weapon X team are pulled to another reality.

As Stark’s armies arrive, Black Bolt lets loose a great scream of “Masada!,” which destroys Attilan and everyone on it. Stark is left alone in defeat in the Presidential Gardens, unaware that a small number of Inhumans escaped Attilan before the siege with Sue Storm to lead them to safety. What Black Bolt did not count on what Sue’s thirst for revenge.

She uses her powers to make her way to Stark and murders him just before his guards arrive to gun her down. As both lay dying, Sue tells Stark the truth so that he can know the full weight of his defeat before dying. In the decades to follow, the cruelty and evil of Stark is revealed to the people of the world and the brave sacrifice of the Inhumans is celebrated.
