Keli Quintela is born in La Paz, Bolivia. While searching through a junkyard with her friend Marcos, Keli watches a man kill an alien. The kids run away out of fear but Keli later returns and finds the alien. Before he dies, Keli takes a device from him that she modifies into a gauntlet, pulling power from the Green Lantern Power Battery like a ring. Emboldened by her experiences, she decides to move to Metropolis to become a superhero.
Dark Opal attempts to invade Earth and Keli stands with other heroes against them. The young heroes form a new Young Justice and travel to Gem World, to free it from the Dark Opal’s rule. While there, they also find Superboy before being banished to the multiverse.
